| Seaholm Redevelopment Condos by Seaholm Power, LLC plans a Spring 2008 groundbreaking on the redevelopment of Austin's Seaholm Power Plant, which includes a new, 22-story hotel and condo tower.
The Seaholm Plaza Hotel and Residences will kick-start the 436,000 square foot, $100 million Seaholm Power redevelopment project. The 160-room hotel will occupy floors 1-6 and the 60 condominiums will be located on floors 7-22. Additional features include converting the Art-Deco power plant into 99,000 s/f of retail, restaurant, office, meeting and event space. Other elements include a two-story, 62,000 sq. ft. office building behind the plant and 3 acres of green space (including landscaped plazas).
The Seaholm Redevelopment Condos architect is Baltimore-based Design Collective, Inc. |
